Man Charged After Brutal Cootham Stabbing Leaves Three Injured

A shocking assault rocked Cootham last Thursday, January 16, when three people were attacked at a home on Pulborough Road.

Victims Found with Stabbing Injuries

Sussex Police rushed to the scene around 7:25 pm to find a 30-year-old man, a 28-year-old man, and a 54-year-old woman all suffering wounds consistent with stabbing. Two victims – the 54-year-old woman and 30-year-old man – were seriously hurt and taken to hospital but have now been discharged.

Accused Thomas Hoe Held on Attempted Murder Charges

Thomas Hoe, 28, from Pulborough Road, Cootham, was quickly arrested and charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of a bladed article. He remains in custody and is set to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 14.

Police Appeal for Witnesses
