Three Men Still on the Run After Ilford Stabbing Murder

Ricardo was fatally stabbed outside a nightclub on Ilford High Road on 7 March 2020. He had been celebrating a friend’s 30th birthday when tragedy struck.

Five Suspects Flee the Country – Only Two Nabbed So Far

Detectives quickly identified five suspects linked to Ricardo’s killing. But before police could arrest them, all five had fled abroad. Since then, the Met Police have teamed up with the National Crime Agency (NCA) and Interpol, chasing leads worldwide.

By April 2020, the Crown Prosecution Service charged the men in their absence. Over the last 15 months, two suspects returned to the UK and were promptly arrested and jailed. But three remain at large, believed to still be overseas:

  • Edmond Moses Tucker, 29, Vincent Road, RM9
  • Ahmed Sesay, 29, Boundary Road, E13
  • Abubaker Tarawally, 23, unknown address

A hefty £10,000 reward is on offer for info leading to their capture and conviction.

Detective Pleads for Public Help to Catch Killers

“It’s been over 16 months since Ricardo was senselessly killed. His family and friends feel his loss deeply and can’t properly grieve while the killers remain free,” said Detective Chief Inspector Perry Benton of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.

“Our team is working round the clock with Interpol and the NCA to bring these men back to face justice. But we need the public’s help.

“These men are likely still in contact with family and friends here. People in Ricardo’s community might know where they’re hiding. They cannot stay hidden forever.

“If anyone has information, no matter how small, please come forward. Help us bring long-overdue justice for Ricardo’s family.”
