Teen Stabbed to Death in Huyton – Murder Investigation Underway
A shocking knife attack rocked Kingsway, Huyton, on Monday night. Around 8pm on 19 April, emergency services rushed to the scene after Connor was found with stab wounds to his chest. Despite efforts to save him, Connor died in hospital.
Four Arrested, One Teen Charged with Murder
- A 14-year-old boy has been charged with Connor’s murder. He appeared at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court on Saturday 24 April and is now remanded in custody.
- Two 15-year-olds – a boy and a girl – initially held on suspicion of murder have been released on conditional bail.
- Another 15-year-old male arrested on suspicion of murder was released with no further action.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Out
Detectives are hunting crucial witnesses and appealing for any information. Detective Chief Inspector Siobhan Gainer said:
“Extensive enquiries continue and I want to ask again for any witnesses to the incident who have yet to come forward to do so.”
She added police want to speak to anyone who saw a red mountain bike with black wheels in the area around the time of the attack.
Anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or mobile footage from Kingsway or Liverpool Road around 8pm on Monday night could hold vital clues.
