Liam French and Max Cuthbert went on a wild crime spree, breaking into a home on Collet Walk before tearing through 30mph zones at 70mph.
Police Use Stinger to Stop Getaway
Officers were forced to deploy a stinger to stop one of the vehicles. Both French and Cuthbert were quickly arrested at the scene.
Serious Charges for Both
- Cuthbert faces charges of aggravated vehicle taking and conspiracy to burgle.
- French is hit with two counts of burglary conspiracy, aggravated vehicle taking, failure to stop, and driving without a license.
French is currently awaiting sentencing.

“French and Cuthbert are prolific thieves who unabashedly and repeatedly flouted the law in quick succession,” said PC Ella Bootes. “When trying to bust it, they showed zero regard for other drivers and pedestrians by speeding recklessly. We applaud the court’s decision to lock them up and send a clear message – crime doesn’t pay.”
