Man Faces Eight Charges Over Dartford Assaults and £1,600 Golf Club Theft

Golf Club Heist and Shop Assaults

Dwayne Jones, 29, is in hot water after allegedly stealing golf clubs worth over £1,600 from a Dartford shop on 8 March 2020. The trouble didn’t stop there — he reportedly came back the very next day trying to pinch even more items.

Violence at Petrol Station

On 9 March, Jones is accused of assaulting three staff members at a petrol station on Princes Road. Energy drinks were reportedly stolen, and a fridge was damaged during the incident.

Brandy Swipe in Priory Market Place

The drama continued on 22 April when Jones allegedly nicked eight bottles of brandy from a supermarket in Priory Market Place.

Police Action and Court Date

Jones, from Horsa Road, Erith, was arrested on 27 May. He now faces eight charges including two counts of assault by beating, common assault, three counts of theft, criminal damage, and attempted theft.

He’s been bailed pending a hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 1 July.
