Drunken Thug Attacks Schoolboys at Station
Nicky Fallows, from Greenfields, Winsford, has been jailed for 24 weeks after targeting three schoolboys at Hartford station.
Brutal Assault on Innocent Pupils
On September 7 last year, Fallows, visibly drunk, singled out boys in school uniform. He grabbed one boy’s tie to hit a 12-year-old around the head and neck.
Later, he grabbed a 13-year-old by the head with both hands. Then he shoved a 15-year-old’s head into his face, hurling insulting remarks about the boy’s appearance.
Swift Justice After Police Hunt
British Transport Police in Crewe, with help from Cheshire Police, quickly identified and arrested Fallows. Safeguarding measures were put in place for the terrified victims.
“This was an incredibly frightening incident that left all three boys shaken and understandably fearful of strangers,” said DC Melanie Dodd.
“A grown man targeting schoolboys with violence and insults is the height of cowardice. Such behaviour won’t be tolerated.”
“I’d like to commend the young people involved, as well as the victims and witnesses who bravely helped throughout the investigation.”
Anyone witnessing violence on the railway is urged to contact the British Transport Police via their discreet text number, 61016.
