Haydock Man Charged with Shocking Child Sex Offences
James Blundell Faces Multiple Charges
James Blundell, 36, from Wesley Avenue, Haydock, has been hit with nine counts of sexual offences against a child under 13. He’s also charged with three counts of making indecent images of a child under 13, plus breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Blast to Court Next Month
Blundell was arrested and remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, December 12.

Detective Inspector Michelle Wilson stressed the seriousness of these crimes. “We take all reports of sexual offences very seriously,” she said. She praised the work of the Child Criminal and Sexual Exploitation team, which supports victims and investigates these cases.
“Our team is ready to provide support to anyone who comes forward,” DI Wilson added.
She urged anyone concerned about a child’s safety or who wants to report abuse to contact the authorities without delay.
