Man Tasersed by Police After Killing Wife and Daughter Over Affair
Police had to use a Taser to subdue Peter Nash after he allegedly murdered his wife and autistic daughter—just hours after his wife was spotted with another man.
Chilling Court Details Unfold
Peter Nash, 47, is representing himself at court but denies killing Jillu Nash, 43, and their 12-year-old autistic daughter Louise. The tragedy took place last September at their home in Great Waldingfield, Sudbury, Suffolk.
Prosecutor David Josse KC revealed Jillu had entered a relationship with her work colleague, Mark Leamey, and planned to leave Nash. “Their marriage was difficult and unhappy,” Josse said, blaming Nash’s 2020 redundancy as a major strain.
Twisted Family Drama
- Nash was primary carer for Louise, who was non-verbal and had limited speech.
- Mrs Nash secretly recorded arguments with her husband, where Nash called her “a schemer who caused chaos.”
- She corrected Nash over claims of infidelity, saying it had lasted eight months, not four.
- Mrs Nash and Leamey were seen together on September 7.
Brutal Killings and Police Response
The prosecution claims Nash strangled his wife with a T-shirt and stabbed Louise in the abdomen. Police were called after Mrs Nash missed work and Louise didn’t go to school.
The smell of gas inside the house forced fire crews to enter first. Nash was found in the living room with multiple stab wounds, still holding a knife. Police had to Taser him to gain control.
After the killings, Nash tried to take his own life and told psychiatrists he’d confronted his wife about the affair. The trial, expected to last six weeks, is ongoing.
