A man has been arrested following a brutal assault in wealthy Knightsbridge earlier today, police confirmed.

Victim Injured but No Stab Wounds

Emergency services were called at 14:11 on Thursday, 13 February, to Rutland Gardens after reports of a man being attacked.

The victim suffered a finger injury and was rushed to hospital for treatment. Officers confirmed there were no stab wounds involved.

Suspect Caught Fast

Police arrived within minutes and arrested a man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm (GBH).

The suspect remains in custody as the investigation continues.

Mysterious Footage Sparks Questions

Detectives are reviewing CCTV that shows a man setting fire to a book just before the assault took place, adding intrigue to the case.
