Man Arrested After Shocking Gravesend Crash and Car Fire
Kent Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder following a dramatic incident in Gravesend.
Crash and Car Blaze on Dering Way
The alarm was raised at 9:55am on Sunday, 13 May 2018, after reports of a collision between a car and a woman on Dering Way. Minutes later, at 10:07am, a car was spotted on fire on the same road.
Woman Airlifted with Head Injury
Emergency crews from Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, and South East Coast Ambulance rushed to the scene. The injured woman was airlifted to hospital with a head injury, which is thankfully not believed to be life-threatening.
Suspect Known to Victim Held in Custody
A man from Gravesend, known to the injured woman, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
