Burglar Busted in North Kent After Jewellery Heist
Detectives have charged a man with two burglaries following a raid on a Meopham home. On 29 December 2023, a resident in Wrotham Road reported jewellery stolen from their house while they were out. Police launched a full investigation, including forensic tests and a CCTV review.
Suspect Snared After Months-Long Probe
Between 3 and 10 January 2024, officers from the 123 Squad intensified their efforts. On Monday 22 April, they detained a suspect in Romford linked to the Wrotham burglary and another crime.
Lorenc Stefanaj Faces Multiple Burglary Charges
Lorenc Stefanaj, 31, of no fixed address, was charged with two North Kent burglaries and a further break-in in Surrey between 1 and 5 February. The career criminal is now in custody ahead of his court hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 25 April.
