Man Charged After Late-Night Sex Attacks on Two Teens in Canterbury
Kent Police have arrested and charged a man following terrifying sexual assaults on two late-teen girls in the early hours near Station Road East, Canterbury.
Horrific Attacks Just After 3am
The victims were walking home from Rhodaus Town shortly after 3am on Saturday, 14 March 2026. The attacker approached them, tried to start a conversation, then followed and sexually assaulted the girls. Disturbing and inappropriate comments from the suspect left the teenagers traumatised.
Quick Action Leads to Arrest
Thanks to the swift response of the victims alerting friends, the suspect fled briefly but was soon caught nearby by officers. Harry Homewood, 21, from Augustine Road, Ramsgate, has been charged with four counts of sexual assault and two counts of assault.
He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 16 March, and was released on bail under strict conditions. Homewood faces trial at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, 20 April 2026.
