Man Charged with Murder of 22-Year-Old in Brixton Stabbing
Detectives have charged a man over the brutal stabbing death of 22-year-old Keelen Morris Wong in Brixton. The tragic attack happened on Coldharbour Lane on Tuesday, October 3, at 4:44pm.
Victim Dies at Scene Despite Emergency Efforts
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene but were unable to save Keelen, who was pronounced dead at the spot. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers during this tough time.
Arrests Follow Deadly Stabbing
- Kyiza Sandiford, 23, from Merton, was arrested the same day and charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He’s due in Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, October 7.
- A 15-year-old boy was arrested two days later on suspicion of murder and weapon possession. He’s been released on bail and will appear in court in January.
- Another 15-year-old boy was arrested on October 6 and remains in custody on suspicion of murder.
