Driver Busted After High-Speed Chase on M20 with Live Gun and Drugs
Chase Ends at Junction 5 Near Aylesford
In the early hours of Saturday 10 April 2021, police arrested a motorist following a dramatic pursuit along the coastbound M20. The chase came to a halt at Junction 5 near Aylesford, where officers swooped in.
Live Firearm and Class B Drugs Seized
A search of the vehicle uncovered a live firearm, class B drugs, and two mobile phones. The discovery escalated the serious nature of the stop.
Kane McLeod Faces Multiple Charges
- Kane McLeod, 30, from Wordsworth Avenue, derby/" title="Derby" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Derby, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
- He also faces charges for possessing a firearm while prohibited for life, disqualified driving, and driving without insurance.
- Additional charges include refusing a roadside drug test and two counts of possession of class B drugs.

McLeod has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 12 April 2021.
