Gun Ho! Man Nabbed in Norfolk with Arsenal of Firearms
A 44-year-old man from Kings Lynn has been charged with possession and supplying firearms following a National Crime Agency (NCA) bust in Norfolk. Jurijs Ragozins was arrested on All Saints Street on Friday afternoon, April 26.
Massive Weapon Haul Recovered
After Ragozins’ arrest and subsequent searches in the area, police seized 12 handguns, ammunition, and 29 stun guns. This follows the earlier recovery of two more handguns linked to the investigation.
The entire cache is now undergoing full forensic analysis.
Courts and Comments: No Firearms on Our Streets
Last night, Ragozins was formally charged with possessing and supplying firearms. He is set to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court on Monday, April 29.
“Preventing firearms from reaching the hands of criminals is a key priority for the NCA,” said Branch Commander Martin Huxley. “This significant weapons seizure likely stopped violent crimes on our streets. Our investigation continues.”
Andrea Wilson, NCA’s Regional Head of Investigations, added: “Removing these weapons protects our communities from the harm they could have caused. Big thanks to Norfolk Police for their invaluable support throughout.”
