Predator locked up for groping under-13 boy in New Milton
Martyn Quinn, 65, from Beechwood, Fordingbridge, was sentenced at Southampton Crown Court after pleading guilty to assaulting a boy under 13. The vile attack happened on January 2 at a property in Gore Road, New Milton.
Two years behind bars for sexual assault
Quinn received a prison term of two years and three months. He was slapped with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will remain on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
Investigator hails victim’s bravery
Detective Constable David Jackson led the probe. He said: “Quinn’s actions have had a lasting impact on the boy. I want to praise him for his bravery which helped put this dangerous predator behind bars.”
DC Jackson added: “This sends a clear message to the public. We will relentlessly pursue sex offenders and urge survivors to come forward. It doesn’t matter how long ago or how old you are, we will take you seriously and support you.”
