Convicted Killer Philip Theophilou Vanishes from East London Mental Facility

Police are on high alert after 54-year-old convicted murderer Philip Theophilou escaped a mental health unit in east London. He fled the Homerton facility on Sunday, March 31, and has not been seen since.

Murderer with Violent Past on the Loose

Theophilou was convicted for the manslaughter of Simon Breed, a 51-year-old builder who died in 2004. Though he denied murder, he admitted manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility.

Last Seen Near Green Park – Medication Missing

Police tracked Theophilou to the Green Park area around 11:25am the same day he fled. He was last spotted wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans, a black jacket, and a black jumper. Officers warn that he has no access to his medication, raising serious safety concerns.

Public Urged to Stay Clear and Call 999 Immediately
