Northwich Drug Dealer Banged Up After Community Tip-Off
A Northwich drug dealer has landed behind bars thanks to crucial info from local residents.
Police Crack Down on Danefield Road
On Tuesday 19 September, Northwich police launched an operation in Danefield Road after reports of drug dealing. Officers carried out several stop-and-searches during the swoop.
Jason Lowe was caught red-handed with 26 wraps of crack cocaine. The 47-year-old from Victoria Gardens, Victoria Road, was swiftly arrested.
Two Years Inside for Lowe
Lowe was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates Court on 21 September.
On Monday 20 November, Chester Crown Court handed him a two-year prison sentence.
Police Praise Community for Role in Bust
“This is another great result which has come about because of intelligence from the local community,” said Sgt Leanne Brundrett of Northwich Local Policing Unit.
