Late-Night Violence Rocks Town Centre: Woman Attacked, Man Hit by Car
Brutal Early Hours Attacks
Chaos erupted in the town centre in the early hours of Saturday, 25 November 2023. Police are treating a series of linked incidents as a disturbing spate of violence.
At around 3.40am, a woman was allegedly attacked with a weapon in Spital Street. Moments later, a man was struck by a moving vehicle nearby. The violent mayhem didn’t stop there—a second man was also hurt in a separate scuffle on the same road.
Injured Victims Treated and Released
All three victims were rushed to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, each was discharged later the same day, but police remain tight-lipped on their conditions.
Suspect Arrested But More Help Needed
A 24-year-old man from Rochester has been arrested in connection with the incidents and subsequently released on bail. Meanwhile, investigators have circulated an image of another individual who might hold crucial information.
