‘Tarzan’ Drugs Line Busted: Kingpin Locked Up in Surrey
Surrey cops have smashed a notorious drugs operation dubbed the ‘Tarzan’ line. The crack team tracked down the gang’s ringleader and shut the supply chain at the source.
24-Year-Old Drug Boss Nabbed in Byfleet Raid
Intelligence led officers straight to Mason Dean, 24, from Oyster Lane, Byfleet. He was arrested during a January 31 raid on his home.
- Seized stash included 23.3g of cocaine, 172 MDMA pills, 3g cannabis
- £1,400 in cash found at Dean’s address
- Burner phone with incriminating messages on large-scale drug dealings recovered
Dean Pleads Guilty, Slapped with Jail Time
Dean pleaded guilty to six offences including possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, cannabis possession, and holding criminal property at Guildford Crown Court on February 1.
Just a month later, on March 2, he was sentenced to three years and four months behind bars. The confiscated cash was handed over to Surrey Drugs and Alcohol Care (SDAC).
Police Praise Swift Justice and Crackdown Efforts
“We work around the clock to investigate and disrupt drug supply in Surrey every day, using proactive tactics and intelligence to pursue perpetrators responsible for dealing drugs and unleashing the wide-scale poisonous impact they have on communities,” said PC David Oliver.
“The Tarzan drugs line was identified by my team, shut down and the ring-leader behind bars in less than a year, showing that there is no place to hide for drug dealers in our county.”
