Pedophile Jailed for Horrific Abuse of Children
John Keevil, 52, has been locked up for 14 years after pleading guilty to 22 counts of child sex offences. The sick crimes, committed between 1997 and 2010, targeted four children aged between nine and 17 in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Keevil, from New Road, Landford, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday, April 25. His victims, now adult men living in Hampshire, finally saw justice served after years of suffering in silence.
Police Praise Victims’ Bravery
“I would like to commend the victims for the bravery and courage they have shown in coming forward after living with the horror of these attacks for many years,” said Detective Inspector John McGonigle.
“Thanks to the trust placed in Hampshire Constabulary and support from Wiltshire Police, Keevil has been held to account. We hope today’s sentence brings some closure to the victims.”
