Burglar Smashes Doors to Snatch Cash at Pebbles On The Beach

Police are hunting a crook who smashed his way into Pebbles On The Beach restaurant on Marina Court Avenue, Bexhill, in the wee hours of Saturday, October 29. At 2.08am, the unidentified man smashed the glass on both front doors before storming inside and making off with a till holding £100.

Suspect Description: Masked Middle-Aged Man in Dark Blue Coat

The thief was inside the restaurant for about seven minutes. Witnesses say he’s a white man, around 6 feet tall, middle-aged or older, and not very nimble. He wore a mask — possibly a scarf or snood — a dark-blue parka with a fur-lined hood, and blue trousers.
