Big Drug Bust Shakes Carlton

Gedling’s Operation Reacher Team, backed by Arnold Neighbourhood Police, raided a Carlton address in Honeywood Court. The target? A hotspot for drug dealing.

Crack, Heroin & More Seized

  • About 50 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin recovered
  • Also found: cannabis, knives, phones, scales, deal bags, and drug paraphernalia

A 25-year-old man and 30-year-old woman were arrested on multiple charges including possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon, and importing Class B drugs improperly.

Police Promise to Keep Up the Pressure

“This was another really good result,” said Sgt James Carrington, who leads Gedling’s Operation Reacher Team. “We are listening to the community’s concerns and are committed to smashing drug supply networks.”

“We work closely with partners like UK Border Force and won’t stop until our streets are clean. We urge the public to pass on any info about dealers to help us keep the area safe.”
