Teen Charged with Murder After Hackney Stabbing

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 29-year-old man in Hackney.

Tragic Attack on Frampton Park Road

Police were called just after 2.30pm on Friday, 26 April, to reports of a man suffering stab wounds on Frampton Park Road. The victim, Joshua White from Homerton, was rushed to an east London hospital by ambulance but sadly died from a stab wound to the heart, confirmed by a post-mortem at Poplar Mortuary.

Suspect Arrested at Scene

The teenager was arrested at the scene and charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon in the early hours of Sunday, 28 April. He remains in custody and is set to appear at Stratford Youth Court on Monday, 29 April.

Appeal for Witnesses

Police are continuing investigations into the stabbing, including a related attack on a man in his 20s in Wilton Way, E8. Anyone with information is urged to contact the incident room on 020 8721 4961 or call 101, quoting reference CAD 4373/26Apr.
