Portsmouth Man Jailed for Over Three Years in Major Drug Bust
A Portsmouth man has been locked up for three years and four months after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
Caught Red-Handed in Suspected Drug Deal
Daniel Fisher, 48, from Elm Grove, appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court on Wednesday (12 July). He admitted to intending to supply controlled Class A and Class B substances.
On 24 May, police spotted Fisher in a suspected drug deal on Newcome Road. Officers stopped and searched him under the Misuse of Drugs Act. A linked address was also searched under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

Fisher was arrested at the scene and charged.
Police Praise Team Effort to Tackle Drug Crime
“Drug supply causes harm and misery to our communities and is linked to burglary, theft, and serious violence,” said T/Detective Constable Becky Deacon of Hampshire Constabulary’s Eastern CID.
“We will relentlessly pursue criminals to protect local people and punish those behind this crime.”
