Ryde Man Jailed for Possessing Shocking Pedophile Grooming Manual
A 27-year-old man from Ryde has been handed a 12-month jail sentence for possessing a vile pedophile grooming manual. Jamie Downing, who lives in Oakvale Road, pleaded guilty to having the manual alongside six other charges during his court appearance at Isle of Wight Crown Court in Newport today (Monday, January 7).
Depraved Manual Found in Grooming Forum
Court was told the disturbing manual was downloaded from a grooming forum and had been in Downing’s possession for over two years. The document contained sick advice on abusing very young children, including babies.
Judge Hits Out at ‘Levels of Depravity’
“The worst offence of these, which takes this case to levels of depravity that this court seldom sees, is that of the manual, which gives detailed advice on the abuse of very young children, including babies,”
