Six Charged After Brutal Burglary Near Maidstone Leaves Two Men Seriously Injured
Violent Break-In Shakes Coxheath Community
Six men face charges of aggravated burglary following a savage attack at a home near Heath Road, Coxheath, on the evening of December 23, 2024. Kent Police were called just after 8:10 p.m. when a group of intruders forced their way inside the property.
The suspects allegedly assaulted two men using a metal bar and a bladed weapon before stealing a watch and fleeing in two vehicles. Police later recovered a knife and crowbar believed to have been used in the attack.
Victims Hospitalised with Life-Changing Injuries
One victim, a man in his 40s, suffered life-changing head and arm injuries and was rushed to hospital for urgent care. Another man, also in his 40s, sustained a serious head wound and remains hospitalised.
Ten Arrested, Six Men Charged
In a major police blitz between December 31, 2024, and March 3, 2025, eight men and two women were arrested as part of the ongoing investigation. Following further inquiries, six men have now been formally charged with aggravated burglary and remanded in custody.

- Ainsley Louis-Jean, 24, Wiltshire Close, Chatham
- Solomon Howard, 23, Meresborough Road, Gillingham
- Tyresse Johnson, 23, Challenger Close, Rainham
All six are awaiting court proceedings as police press ahead with their case.
Investigation Continues
Three other individuals — two women aged 23 and 64, and a 21-year-old man — have been released on conditional bail while inquiries continue.
Kent Police confirm the investigation remains active and officers are following all leads.
