Man Busted for Early Morning Maidstone Burglary
A 57-year-old man has been charged after raiding a home in Maidstone town centre in the dead of night. Kent Police swung into action following a break-in near Mill Street just before 3:30am on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
The Burglary Shock
Police say the intruder nicked a set of keys, cigarettes, and cash before being scared off by one of the residents. Thanks to swift police work, a suspect was nabbed the very next day.
Man in the Dock
Michael Malone from Fairmeadow, Maidstone, faces burglary charges. He was hauled before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 14, and remanded in custody. He’s slated for a Maidstone Crown Court hearing on November 11.
