Burglary Suspect Nabbed After Ashford Pub Break-In
A man has been charged over a brazen burglary at a public house in Ashford.
Alcohol and Items Stolen in Early Morning Raid
In the early hours of Wednesday, March 13, 2024, a Willesborough pub was targeted by burglars. Thieves smashed in and made off with various goods, including bottles of alcohol.
Fast Police Action Leads to Arrest
Ashford’s Community Safety Unit moved swiftly. Just two days later, on Friday, March 15, 27-year-old Ben Everitt from Cornes Close was arrested in connection with the raid.
Charged and Remanded Ahead of Court Appearance
After a thorough investigation by Ashford’s Victim Based Crime Team, Everitt was formally charged with burglary. He remains in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 18.
