Teen Fight with Weapons Sparks Panic in Crawley Park

Chaos erupted in Maidenbower Park, Crawley, on Sunday afternoon as a group of youths clashed in a violent fight, reportedly brandishing weapons. Police rushed to the scene around 3.45pm, causing the fighters to scatter into nearby streets.

Four Teens Arrested After Weapon-Fuelled Brawl

Officers swiftly searched the area and arrested four Crawley teenagers connected to the incident:

  • Two boys, aged 14 and 15, held on suspicion of possessing offensive weapons in public and affray.
  • One 14-year-old arrested for affray.
  • Another 15-year-old charged with possession of offensive weapons.

All four have since been released on bail with strict conditions as police continue their probe.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Video Evidence

Sussex Police are urging anyone who saw the fracas or has footage to step forward immediately.
