Three men with no fixed address have landed in hot water after violent and disorderly conduct linked to football matches on Saturday, 15 October.

Joey Degroof Jailed for Assaulting Emergency Worker

Joey Degroof, 36, was convicted at Croydon Magistrates’ Court for assaulting an emergency worker. He was handed an eight-week prison sentence and also found guilty of criminal damage.

Pitch Invader Fined and Banned

Dean Pierre Daquano, 28, faced the music at 1 Magistrates’ Court for storming onto the pitch. He was slapped with a £120 fine and handed a three-year football banning order.

Racist Abuse Nets Three-Year Football Ban

Frederick Jules Desnet, 40, was convicted at Thames Magistrates’ Court of racially and/or religiously aggravated harassment aimed to cause alarm or distress. He was fined £200 and banned from attending football matches for three years.

Flares Fly, Officers Hurt

Violence flared as flares were hurled from the away fans’ section, forcing officers to step in and restore order. Four officers were hurt, with two needing hospital treatment for their injuries.
