Three Brits caught with nearly £300,000 worth of cocaine in Bali are set for rapid deportation after dodging Indonesia’s brutal drug laws.

£300k Cocaine Bust at Bali Airport

Lisa Stocker, 39, from East Sussex, her partner Jon Collyer, 39, and 31-year-old Phineas Float were nabbed in February at Bali’s international airport. Customs found almost a kilo of cocaine cleverly hidden inside sachets of powdered dessert in their luggage.

Slap on the Wrists After Guilty Pleas

At Denpasar Central Court, all three admitted to drug trafficking. Despite Indonesia’s notorious harsh penalties, the judges handed them a mere one-year sentence. Their cooperation and time already served played a big part in the lenient ruling.

Fast-Tracked Deportation Awaits

Now, the trio are expected to be swiftly booted out of Indonesia and sent packing back to the UK. The case highlights the country’s tough drug stance — but shows there’s some wiggle room for those who cooperate.
