Three Charged Over Brutal Assault in Dover
Serious Attack on Folkestone Road
Kent Police were called out in the early hours of Friday, July 8, 2022, after CCTV footage showed a violent altercation on Folkestone Road. A man in his 30s was brutally assaulted and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Suspects Nabbed and Charged
The Dover Victim Based Crime Team launched a swift probe that led to charges against three men. Mason Green, 22, Bradley Green, 22, and Roger Porter, 36 – all from Folkestone Road, Dover – were each charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
Unusual Weapon: Traffic Cone
Bradley Green faces an extra charge for possession of an offensive weapon – a traffic cone.
Next Court Date Set
The trio were charged on July 9 and appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court the next day, where they were remanded in custody. Their case will return to Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, August 8.
