Raymond Gets Life for Brutal Acid Assault

Raymond, the main attacker, was sentenced to life with a minimum of nine years at Harrow Crown Court last December. He pled guilty to two counts of grievous bodily harm and one count of actual bodily harm after dousing a family with acid.

Crucially, Raymond was caught thanks to smart police work. A Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) spotted him, and clothing worn during the attack was found at his home, sealing his fate.

Investigation Ends, but Victims Face Long Road Ahead

Williams-Douglas was nabbed at his home after being tied to the getaway vehicle.

“This sentencing marks the end of a lengthy investigation,” said Detective Inspector Jack Stilwell, who led the probe. “Although the investigation is over, the victims will continue to endure the physical and psychological trauma of this horrendous attack.”

Neither perpetrator explained why they carried out the attack, leaving the victims to cope with its devastating aftermath.
