Terrifying Attack Near Sissinghurst Road

Detectives are hunting for more info after a 12-year-old boy was allegedly threatened at knifepoint. The chilling incident unfolded around 5pm on Saturday 20 April 2024 near the junction of Sissinghurst Road and Common Road, Huddersfield.

Victim Cornered, Threatened for Cash

The young victim was reportedly approached by two suspects who shoved him against a car. They demanded money and brandished a weapon before fleeing without taking anything.

Two Arrested, Both Now on Bail

Police swooped the same evening, arresting a 20-year-old man who remains on bail until 18 July as inquiries continue. A teenage boy was also arrested and released on bail pending further investigation.

Officers urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring those responsible to justice.
