Police Praise Teamwork and Public Patience
“This was a concerning incident that could have had tragic consequences, but outstanding work from Sussex Police officers and NPAS meant it was resolved safely,” said Police Constable Steve Bucksey of the Roads Policing Unit.
“We believe this was an isolated incident and are not seeking any other suspects at this time. Although the motorbike was initially thought to be stolen, it now appears that was not the case, but this shows the action we will take towards stolen vehicles. We thank the public for their patience while the pursuit was ongoing.”
