Man Stabbed to Death at FedEx Depot in Hellaby
Chaos erupted this morning when police rushed to FedEx on Rother Way, Hellaby, following reports of a stabbing at 9.39am.
Victim Dies Despite Emergency Efforts
Officers found a 60-year-old man critically injured at the scene. Paramedics battled to save him, but he was sadly pronounced dead on-site.
Arrest Made as Murder Investigation Launches
A 48-year-old Sheffield man is now in custody, arrested on suspicion of murder. His identity has not been released.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Palmer, leading the probe, said:
“We are working hard to establish the circumstances of this tragic incident, which we know will be causing concern in the community. Our officers remain on the scene while we carry out our enquiries.”
The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
