A3 Northbound Shut After Two-Car Crash Near Hospital Roundabout
Surrey Police have shut the northbound carriageway of the A3 following a two-vehicle collision near the Hospital roundabout. The smash happened just before 10.30pm on Saturday.
Fire Crews Rush to Scene, No One Trapped
Firefighters from Surrey Fire and Rescue Station in Guildford were quick on the scene. A spokeswoman confirmed crews made both vehicles and the surrounding area safe. Thankfully, neither driver was trapped.
Police Managing Traffic Chaos
Surrey Roads Policing officers remain at the scene overseeing cleanup and recovery efforts. Police are working hard to reopen one lane and ease the growing traffic tailbacks caused by the closure.
