Man in 20s Found Injured on Wilberforce Road – Police Launch Assault Probe
Emergency services rushed to Wilberforce Road in the Sandgate area after reports of a young man injured and walking by the roadside at around 3.45pm on Thursday, 29 October 2020.
The man, in his 20s, was quickly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police Suspect Assault, Appeal for Witnesses
PC Paul Wilson revealed, “It is suspected the man may have been assaulted, but enquiries are ongoing to understand exactly what happened.”
He added, “We urge anyone who saw the man or knows how he got his injuries to come forward.”
