Man Dies in Horror Crash on Milton’s Shirley Avenue
Emergency services rushed to a fatal collision on Shirley Avenue, Milton, Portsmouth just after 5pm on Saturday, April 17th.
Single-Vehicle Crash Leaves Man Dead
A dark Chrysler Voyager was involved in the serious single-vehicle smash. Despite desperate efforts from South Central Ambulance crews and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, sadly the man died at the scene.
Police Lead Investigation as Road Closures Hit Area
Hampshire Roads Policing officers have taken charge of the probe. Specialist collision investigators are meticulously examining the scene, measuring and scrutinising road surfaces to piece together what happened.
Several patrol cars and the air ambulance remained on site near Bransbury Park, while cordons and road closures are in place to aid the ongoing investigation.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police have been contacted for comment and are expected to issue a public appeal for any witnesses to help with their inquiries.
