Serious Crash in Hornchurch: Police Hunt Witnesses

Detectives are on the lookout for witnesses after a serious collision in Hornchurch left a man in his 60s badly hurt.

Crash Details and Emergency Response

The smash happened at 2.21pm on Tuesday, 8 October, near Tesco on Airfield Way. A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene. The injured man was taken to hospital, where he remains under treatment.

Driver Cooperating, No Arrests Yet

The driver stopped at the scene and is helping police with their inquiries. So far, no arrests have been made.

Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage and Witnesses
