A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of voyeurism following two shocking incidents at public toilets in New Rents, Ashford, Kent Police confirm.
Mobile Phone Spotted Over Toilet Cubicles
The disturbing acts reportedly took place around 1:50 PM on Friday, 28 March 2025. Witnesses say a mobile phone was seen being held over cubicle partitions in the gentlemen’s public toilets, raising alarms of covert filming.
Kent officers swooped later that day to arrest the suspect. He has since been released on bail as the probe continues.

Kent Police are now pleading with anyone who saw the incidents or experienced similar dodgy behaviour in the area to step forward.
“We are continuing to investigate two reports of voyeurism in New Rents, Ashford. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or who has any relevant information to get in touch.”
