Daylight Burglars Steal £30k Audi in Basingstoke
Police are hunting crooks who snatched a luxury car in broad daylight. The break-in happened at 1 Close, Basingstoke, between 1pm and 1.20pm on April 5.
Thieves Smash Window, Swipe Keys and Audi
Burglars forced open the front window, barged inside, and grabbed the keys to a black Audi S3 Quattro. The sleek ride, worth around £30,000, was then driven off.
Officers Urge Locals to Speak Up
PC Bishop said: “This happened in the middle of the day and we want to speak to anyone who was in the area and noticed suspicious behaviour that afternoon. We’d also like to hear from anyone who spotted a car like this between 1pm and 2pm on April 5.”
