Teen Attacked and Threatened with Knife on Brighton Train
Police are hunting witnesses after a shocking knife threat on a train at Brighton station.
Teen Victim Ambushed on Train
At around 1pm on 8 January, a 16-year-old boy was sitting on a train heading towards Hove when trouble struck.
A teenage attacker suddenly ran up, punched him in the face, and threatened him with a knife.
Assailants Flee the Scene
The knife-wielding youth didn’t act alone. After the assault, he dashed off the train and joined a second teen, and both fled Brighton station.
Arrest Made, Investigation Ongoing
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon. He’s now on conditional bail while inquiries continue.
