Huge Cannabis Farm Worth £200k Busted in Medway!

Kent Police have smashed a massive cannabis growing operation in Rochester, seizing around 500 plants worth an eye-watering £200,000. The raid took place on Monday 20 January at a property in Victory Park, Medway City Estate.

500 Cannabis Plants and High-Tech Gear Found

Officers executed a warrant and uncovered a large-scale grow operation decked out with all the latest equipment for cultivating cannabis on an industrial scale. All the plants have since been seized and destroyed.

Criminal Ties and Modern-Day Slavery Warning

Detective Sergeant Matthew Sherriff warned that these massive cannabis farms are often linked to serious crime. He said:

“The large-scale production of cannabis is linked to violent and serious organised crime, as well as modern-day slavery and the exploitation of vulnerable people. We will always strive to stamp out this illegal activity and bring the perpetrators to justice.”
