Cash and Designer Gear Worth Thousands Seized in Drugs Bust!
Police swooped on a suspicious vehicle in Knights Wood, Tunbridge Wells, uncovering a stash of cannabis and two mobile phones. The driver, just 20, was arrested on the spot.
Major Cash Haul Discovered
The raid didn’t stop there. Officers raided a nearby address tied to the young man. Inside, they found multiple bags stuffed with large sums of cash. Alongside the money were several pairs of pricey designer trainers and coats – all seized as evidence.
Two Suspects Nabbed Over Drugs and Money Laundering
The police also arrested a 22-year-old woman connected to the case. Both suspects are now in custody, facing charges linked to drug supply and money laundering following the investigation.
Officers from the Tunbridge Wells Community Policing Team acted swiftly after spotting the suspicious vehicle at 4.55pm on Thursday 24 March 2022.
