Knife Threat Horror on DLR Train Between Blackwall and Westferry
Police have launched an urgent hunt after a passenger was threatened with a knife on a DLR train last week. A CCTV image shows a man officers want to track down in connection with the shocking incident.
Threat on Board at 9.20pm
The terrifying scene unfolded at around 9.20pm on Wednesday, 6 December. The suspect approached a seated passenger, shouted aggressively, then kicked him. He quickly pulled a knife from his waistband and waved it threateningly.
Suspect Escapes Wearing Balaclava
In a chilling twist, the man then masked up with a balaclava before fleeing the train at Westferry station. Thankfully, the victim was not injured during the ordeal.
Police Seek Public’s Help
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image holds vital clues to the investigation and are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.
