Stabbing Horror at Dagenham Heathway Tube Station Sparks Police Probe
Police have launched an urgent investigation after a stabbing was reported at Dagenham Heathway Underground station on the evening of Tuesday, 16 July 2025.
Attack Reported Shortly After 9:25pm
British Transport Police rushed to the station just minutes after being alerted to the stabbing around 9:25pm. Upon arrival, officers carried out a thorough search of the area.
Station Shut Down as Police Hunt Suspects
The station was closed at 9:50pm at the request of police and remained shut for the rest of the night. Despite their efforts, officers could not find a victim or anyone linked to the incident.
“Officers attended and conducted a thorough search of the area but could not locate a victim or anyone else involved,” a British Transport Police spokesperson said.
