Five Armed Thugs Raid Texaco Garage in Knowsley
A gang of five masked men struck a Texaco Garage on Knowsley Lane at around 9pm, threatening staff and causing chaos.
Stock Destroyed and Items Stolen
The raiders, all wearing dark clothes and some sporting bubble jackets, smashed up stock before making off on foot towards Sugar Lane. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the shaken staff member faced a terrifying ordeal.
Police Hunt for Masked Robbers
Detective Chief Inspector John Fitzgerald said: “It’s appalling that someone simply doing their job is faced with such threats. We won’t tolerate this and will do everything to catch those responsible.”
He urged anyone with information or dashcam footage from Knowsley Lane around the time of the robbery to come forward. Early CCTV and witness enquiries are underway.
