Watch Heist at Christchurch Jewellers
At 12.40pm on Thursday 9 March 2023, a man stormed into Christchurch Jewellers in Saxon Square. He asked to see two pricey watches – a £12,000 Rolex and a £1,000 TAG. Without warning, he grabbed both and shoved a staff member aside before making a quick getaway. The staffer suffered minor injuries in the scuffle.
Police Seek Suspect with CCTV Images
Detective Constable Evelyn Ahmadi of Bournemouth CID revealed:
“We are pursuing several lines of inquiry into this robbery and have obtained CCTV footage of the man we want to identify.”
She urged anyone with information to come forward, saying:
“If you’ve seen a Rolex or TAG watch being sold online or nearby in suspicious circumstances, please get in touch.”
